  1. I'm a big fan of Doug Sahm - and I loved Michoacan. Their version couldn't be better!

  2. saw little steven sitting out in front of the club in his convertible jag a couple of hours before the gig. went to go tell the gourds, who said they'd just seen rick ocasek riding his bicycle. weeeeird. anyway, the show itself was pretty damn good. band and crowd had high energy start to finish. even the bartender who was working the room spent most of her night dancing. fun to see. broken string led to jesus & tequila (max changing string while kev shook a tambourine and sang back-ups). great calls were tearbox, wine, money honey, etc...hope they come back again without making us wait so lonnnnnnng.

  3. I can vouch for the Ric Ocasek sighting. Musical magic all the way around.
