  1. david brand knows how to throw a party. open bar all night, catering never ran out...and the gourds for 2 sets. basically, a gourds fan's dream. this was my second brand-gourds fest and I didn't think it could actually get better than the 1st time...but it did. set list says it all, and I got the whole thing on video (which I'll post at some point) but I will say my favorite part was claude starting up waterbag off-the-cuff on his keyboards and watching the rest of the band fall right into place. haven't seen that tune in years. thanks again, brand!
